UTSA CACP 15-Year Celebration

(February 15, 2016) -- The College of Architecture, Construction and Planning (CACP) is celebrating fifteen years as an independent academic unit at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). This is a remarkable milestone when one considers what we have accomplished, how we have evolved, and the many people we have reached through our teaching, research, and service. We are holding a full-day event on Saturday, April 1, 2017 to highlight our college’s history and invite those in the San Antonio community and beyond to share in the celebration.

Please save the date and join our Facebook event!

The day will include:

  • the annual CACP Faculty Research Symposium
  • a keynote lecture by nationally renowned Harvard Graduate School of Design Professor Alex Krieger, who will speak about the American city
  • exhibitions that highlight recent work done by CACP faculty, centers, and students
  • a two-day student design-build competition held on college grounds
  • an awards program with remarks from our administration that will announce design-build winners and recognize alumni

All events are free and open to the public, with more details forthcoming. Join us in recognizing our college’s evolution, achievements, and value to UTSA, our community, and our professions.
