The $20,000 national grant has been awarded to Dr. Suk to develop and deliver a new lighting design course for upper-level undergraduate architecture and interior design students.
As presented at the Spring 2017 CACP Awards & Certificate ceremony on April 28.
The inaugural awards were presented at the CACP 15-Year Celebration, held April 1 at the UTSA Downtown Campus.
Their win marks the second year in a row that a UTSA studio project sponsored by Ian Caine and Dr. Rahman Azari has been honored as one of ten winning teams in the annual competition.
The top prize, announced by the AIA Washington D.C. Chapter, includes $20,000 and internships for both Elle and Jennifer at Shalom Baranes Associates in D.C.
