AGC San Antonio Chapter welcomes UTSA’s new Construction Science Department Chair
(September 1, 2017) -- The Associated General Contractors (AGC) San Antonio Chapter welcomed Dr. Tulio Sulbaran, the new Chair of the UTSA Department of Construction Science, at an August 16 reception. Doug McMurry, Executive Director of the AGC San Antonio Chapter, explained to attendees the importance of the UTSA Construction program for the industry and the significant positive impact that Dr. Sulbaran will bring to the program at UTSA and area companies.

Dr. John Murphy, Dean of the UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning, shared briefly the significant accomplishments of Dr. Sulbaran and the tremendous opportunities the construction program will have under this new leadership. Dr. Sulbaran appreciated the warm welcome and shared enthusiastically with the attendees information about the courses, student activities, career fair and industry involvement in the program. The companies in attendance expressed their intention to continue supporting the program and were eager to engage in the new phase of the construction program at UTSA with the arrival of Dr. Sulbaran.
