Current Research & Research Centers

In the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning (CACP) we are educating the next generation of design leaders and providing valuable services to San Antonio and the South Texas region. Our competitive academic program is complemented by a variety of activities including public lectures, exhibitions, and special events, all of which help prepare our students for positions of leadership in their communities and in their chosen professions.

The CACP strives to offer a wide range of experiences at the local, national, and international level. Faculty and students are provided with unique opportunities to partner with their local community and the region at large to address issues through planning, design, and construction. We also offer several global study-abroad experiences that give students opportunities to live and study in different cultural environments.

As the College continues to move forward, the support of our alumni and friends is critical to our ability to provide the best educational opportunities for our students. Donor gifts allow us to build on the strengths of our programs, attract outstanding faculty, and recruit and retain top students through scholarships. Local practitioners and alumni are an invaluable resource for the infusion of real-time industry knowledge in the classroom. Become a part of the vital work of this dynamic College by making a gift or donating your time today!
