The Tradition in Italy: Student Work from Urbino

(February 5, 2015) -- The UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning’s (CACP) study abroad program in Urbino, Italy provides an incomparable opportunity for students to learn about classical architecture and explore the applicability of traditional principles and forms to design in the 21st century. During the fall semester of 2014, because of a generous grant that the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art awarded to CACP Dean Dr. John Murphy, the students had the privilege of studying with Italian architect Fabio Paoletti. On January 23, 2015 there was an exhibit of design projects and watercolors these students produced under Paoletti's tutelage. Photos from the event are displayed in this gallery.
