Fall 2012 Urbino Group: Final Presentations

Fall 2012 Urbino Group: Final Presentations

This Fall 2012 group of students from UTSA's College of Architecture studied abroad in Urbino, Italy from September until December of 2012. At the conclusion of their semester studying abroad, the students presented their final projects to the public at the Sanzio Theatre in Urbino on November 29, 2012. The architectural projects presented were the final work of the semester, which began with the study and analysis of classical architecture using the examples in the city of Urbino. The projects are inspired by the work and philosophy of the famous American architect Louis Kahn (1902-1974). The UTSA students who studied in Urbino during the Fall 2012 semester did so bearing in mind the approach of Louis Kahn.

This video was shot at the final presentation. College of Architecture Lecturer Darryl Ohlenbusch is interviewed along with a few of the UTSA students.
