CACP Faculty Research Symposium

The UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning (CACP) hosted a daylong symposium on November 21, 2014 to showcase the wide breadth of its faculty research and expertise. The CACP Faculty Research Symposium featured 23 presentations of recently published work by CACP faculty related to a variety of architectural, design, construction, conservation, and planning topics. Architects Upali Nanda, Vice President and Director of Research at HKS Architects, and Alison Kwok, Professor of Architecture at Oregon University, served as keynote speakers at the event. Nanda’s talk was titled, “The Changing Paradigm in Architectural Practice: Research Comes of Age,” while Kwok discussed “Ninety‐five Percent: Framing the Questions for Research.”
