New students hosted during Roadrunner Days
(August 30, 2017) -- The UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning hosted new students during Roadrunner Days on August 21. Incoming Construction Science students received an overview of the college by Dr. Suat Gunhan followed by a warm welcome from the new Chair of the Department of Construction Science, Dr. Tulio Sulbaran.
The new students were given excellent insight into the construction profession and the internship signature experience by Jude Patin. They also had the opportunity to learn about the 3D printing and computer facilities from Mark Eli and Ernesto Bertadillo. Student organization Presidents Angela Castanon and Kassandra Morales presented opportunities new students will have by joining ABC, AGC and NAHB, which are all organizations supported by the Department of Construction Science at UTSA.
