Amy Jackson

EDG – Dallas, TX
Interior Design Advisory Council

Amy has been a Designer with the Dallas office of California-based EDG Interior Architecture + Design since August 2012. Actively involved in all phases of design from conceptual planning to technical drawings and art installation, Amy’s completed projects include the Landmark Ballroom and Premium Suite design at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, TRIO restaurant at the Four Seasons in Austin and, most recently, Fixe restaurant in Austin, which has been named to OpenTable’s Top 100 Hot Spots in America. Other projects currently on the board include the public spaces and F&B venues for Four Seasons Sao Paulo, Ritz-Carlton New Orleans and Hilton Austin. Prior to joining EDG, Amy was employed as an Intern Architect with DPA Architects, Inc., in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she developed a strong foundation in construction documents and detailing, consultant coordination and a resounding connection to hospitality design with projects that include Eddie V’s and Z’Tejas restaurants.

With an architectural background and nearly ten years of design experience in hospitality design, Amy’s design point of view attempts to convey an authentic veneration for the specific nature of a place and the responsibility of design to inform, delight...and turn a profit. Her design approach is firmly rooted in a sensibility driven by the experience of a space and an eagerness to present design solutions that are both intelligent and sublime. Committed to the ideals of sustainability in the built environment, she has boundless energy when developing spaces that are memorable, meaningful and socially responsible.
