Student Honors and Awards
The interior design program at UTSA has a long and successful history competing in regional, national and international design and scholarship competitions. In the last 10 years, more than 20 students have successfully competed in the following design competitions:

●  2nd Annual SES Student Healthcare Design Intervention, Healthcare at Edges: Urban Growth and Decentralization of Care – a regional design competition sponsored by AIA Houston, the Committee on Healthcare Architecture (CAH). Competition seeks a solution to a healthcare architecture related design challenge and entices a new generation of designers towards healthcare design. Second place winners: Damaris Acosta, Cherie Bartels, Laura M. Elizondo, Reid D. Gould (2014)
