Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation: Admission Requirements

The Certificate Program is open to current graduate students from all colleges at UTSA, as well as non-degree seeking students. The Certificate Program Coordinator may determine that a student requires prerequisite background courses to adequately prepare for the courses of the Graduate Certificate Program and set special requirements for admission.

Graduate Students (degree seeking)
New and existing graduate students in “good standing” declare the intent to seek the Certificate by requesting permission to enter and complete the program. If you are in this category, please complete the Certificate intent form.

Special Graduate Students (non-degree seeking)
Students not currently enrolled in a graduate program may apply according to UTSA admission requirements for certificate programs (see chapter on Certificate Programs in the UTSA Graduate Catalog). Deadlines are June 15 for the Fall semester, October 15 for the Spring semester, and April 15 for the Summer semester. For more information on how to apply to UTSA contact the Graduate School. The Program requests a statement of purpose and two letters of recommendation with your application.
